Dua in Seeking Refuge from Punishment of Hellfire and Material Trials

The Prophet s.a.w. cautioned against the trials of poverty and affluence.

While seeking wealth and experiencing poverty are not inherently bad, the attitudes that may arise from these trials, such as arrogance or discontent, can divert us from the true path.

He would pray: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trials and punishment of the fire, and from the evils that may come from affluence and poverty." 🤲🏻

This supplication reflects our complete reliance on Allah, our need for regular self-reflection, and our awareness that we are accountable for every action in the afterlife. 📿
