With circuit breaker season here to stay for another month, food delivery services have never been more crucial to both F&B businesses and consumers alike. Many eating establishments are already offering a variety of delivery options and promotions, and many more are joining the delivery bandwagon – with some even offering islandwide delivery. I’m super thankful to have so many of my favourite restaurants to choose from this Ramadan, so here’s a list of 5 of my favourite eating establishments that everyone can enjoy eating for iftar, insyaallah. #sharingiscaring

My family and I have been ordering from this humble seafood stall nearly every other week when we visit my grandma’s place in Ang Mo Kio, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer islandwide delivery now. Favourites include their Thai Style Honey Chicken Wings, Cereal Prawns, and the surprisingly memorable Fried Bee Hoon Singapore Style – and you thought you’d only see “Singapore Fried Noodles” when you’re overseas 😊

Islandwide delivery is available on GrabFood.

Gone are the days when my family and I needed to head all the way down to the SingPost Centre in Paya Lebar to tuck into a hearty bowl of hand-pulled noodles from Nuodle – they have outlets in Yishun and Tampines now, as well as sister outlets specialising in dumplings, wontons, and rice bowls. While some of their more interesting side dishes like the beef pancakes are not on the delivery menu, my favourite Signature Beef La Mian and Chicken Bean Paste La Mian are still available for my family and I to enjoy during this Ramadan.

Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut

If Ayam Penyet is too mainstream for you, why not give the Bebek Goreng (fried duck) a try? Served with a generous portion of rice, tahu tempe goreng (Fried tofu and fermented soybeans) and their house-made sambal that delivers just the right amount of spicy kick, this is one dish you have to try. They also serve a mean Ayam Bakar if you’re ordering for more 😊

Big Fish Small Fish

This is definitely one of my favourite fish and chips shops in Singapore. From the wide variety of fish and flavours that is available (I’m a fan of the spicy Haddock!), to the fresh potato crisps that are super thin and crispy, to the free flow of unique sauces like curry mayo, salted egg and their homemade tartar, what’s not to like? 😊 While you may not be able to enjoy the free flow of unique sauces, this is still a solid option to try if you’re craving fish and chips!

There are currently many ongoing promotions, from bucket deals to a collaboration menu with sister brand Ah Dong Teh House, so do follow their social media platforms to get updates!
