Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. is the perfect role model that we all strive to follow in every aspect of our lives. He tirelessly taught us that “forgiveness is greater than revenge, perseverance is larger than retaliation and love is better than hate.” (‘4 Lessons of Love and Mercy from Prophet Muhammad’, 2019)
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. is so important to us that our shahadah is not complete without the belief that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. is a messenger of Allah.

'Peace Be Upon You' by Maher Zain
It’s almost impossible to attend a wedding and not hear one of Maher Zain’s songs. His Islamic-themed tunes, that are done in contemporary pop styles, are catchy yet meaningful.
One of Maher Zain’s most touching songs is ‘Peace Be Upon You’.
When you listen to ‘Peace Be Upon You’, trust me, it would be hard not to feel moved or even cry.
If there was one word to describe Raihan, it would be ‘legendary’. The Malaysian nasyid group took the world by storm in the 1990s. They became such a worldwide phenomenon that they toured every continent except Antarctica!
Their song “Ya Nabi Salamun Alaika” is one of their heartfelt songs that you may remember listening to while growing up.
In the 1990s, Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah students came together to form a nasyid group called ‘Shoutul Jundil Muslim’ to help fund the development of their school. Their songs were so popular that they managed to sell 50,000 copies of the first album!
