Where can you get a 1-for-1 wagyu steak here in Singapore? Look no further! Molten Diners has this running promotion for all DBS card holders which makes your steak-out totally worth it.

Located in Upper Thompson, Molten Diners is a family-friendly restaurant suitable for outings with groups of family and friends (yes, not more than 8 of course).

One Place, Many Sauces

For those unfamiliar with Molten Diners, the restaurant is famous for the range of sauces they offer with their meals. Another great thing is that free refill is available for your chosen sauces!

Wagyu Striploin Steak

We went ahead getting the 1-for-1 Wagyu striploin steak ($48) with white pepper sauce.

The steak comes with curly fries, mac and cheese and a corn salad on the sides.

We ordered medium rare, and the doneness, we can safely say is to the T!

The white pepper sauce complements the meat. It’s not spicy and fairly sweet, great for those who prefer milder sauces.

Classic Wagyu Beef Burger

We also tried the classic Wagyu beef burger ($18) with black pepper sauce. The burger is packed with succulent wagyu beef patty, cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, sliced cucumber and tomatoes. This main comes together with curly fries and pomegranate mixed salad on its sides.

Compared to its twin the white pepper, the black pepper is slightly spicier and more flavourful. It’s a nice kick going together with the meat in the burger.

Overall worth the trip to ulu Upper Thomson! Will come again to try other things and sauces on the menu.
