After graduating from Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah, Ustaz Hanan attained a degree in Fiqh and Usul Fiqh from Yarmouk University. He is active in sports and loves soccer, table tennis, jogging and sepak takraw. Currently, he is the Assistant Manager of Dakwah at Masjid Sultan.
